Written by Izak Van Heerden
With traveling becoming easy and Internet enabling people to work remotely, thin portable laptops are highly in-demand.
And of course there’s the bragging rights of sporting a laptop you can almost shave with…

Acer Swift 7

Acer itself proclaims that this laptop of theirs is the thinnest of its kind in the world. It only weighs 2.6 lbs. (1.18 kg) and measures 0.39 inches in its thinnest. The Swift does not skimp on specs either, no 256Gb SSD as you get in so many competitors but a solid 1/2 Terabyte driver here, as well as a battery that gives 9 hours of use.

Here are other amazing things Acer’s Swift 7 offers other than its slenderness:

  • Intel Core i7 (i7-7Y75) CPU
  • Smooth, comfortable keyboard and built-in 4G LTE
  • 256GB SSD
  • Up to 9 hours of battery life (under extreme usage)

HP delivers an acrobatic model that can fold back away from the keyboard – and it includes a digital pen for artists and note takers. It weighs in at only 12 ounces with dimensions of 12 x 8.6 x 0.5 inches. Dell XPS 15 2-in-1

It seems that most thin laptops can do the bending over backward trick as can the Dell XPS 15 2-in-1. Contrary to its big size and large monitor, it is actually very thin and light compare to other 15-inch laptops. XPS 15’s height ranges from 0.36” to 0.63”only and weighs 4.36 lbs. (2 kg). It can also be converted into a tablet because of its 360 degrees flip feature. The 2-in-1 bit in its name refers to its Dell Cinema and Next-Gen InfinityEdge features that made this laptop more unique than every other laptop in this list.
